Crows and Jays from a blindingly sunny afternoon on the 11th. The first Red-winged Blackbirds showed up on this date (the exact date they arrived last year, too) but disappeared by noon and weren’t seen again until the following Monday. Mourning Doves at the feeder, and Hooded Mergansers displaying near the parking lot at LaSalle.
